I injured myself at home while plumbing resulting in a right side bulging disc between L4 and L5 in my lumbar. This injury was causing upper right leg & buttock sciatica that was extremely painful. Dr. Watt performed a microdiscectomy at the Black Hills Surgery Hospital and I immediately noticed no sciatica. I feel like a new man!
Dr. Watt is an excellent surgeon and my experience at the BH Neurosurgery and Spine hospital was great. the staff was very efficient and I have never been treated so well at any other facility. Thank you to all the nurses at the hospital and all of Dr. Watt's staff at the clinic.
I have been a patient of Dr. Watt's since 2012. He has done a lumbar fusion, a cervical fusion and ulnar release on both elbows for me and I have nothing negative to say. He is a warm and caring physician and takes the time that is needed with each patient. His support staff is wonderful too. One of the things I like the most is that he does NOT talk over your head as many other specialists have a tendency to do.
Dr. Watt is one of the most amazing doctors! The service and care that I received from my initial appointment, through surgery and through my after care was impeccable. I would recommend him and his staff for anything related to my back, neck and/or spine.
I feel so lucky and blessed to have found such a wonderful, intelligent, compassionate surgeon. He is a matter of fact kinda guy which I appreciate. After meeting with him I knew exactly what the plan was for my care. He is a straight to the fact and leaves no questions. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Watt did a surgical procedure called a cervical fusion doing a C4-C7 ACDF with plating. I had a long history of neck pain extending into both arms and head. He felt this surgery would help me so we just decided "to get on with it". His own self confidence certainly helped me make the decision to do the surgery. Dr. Watt approached me with kindness, understanding, explaining everything with facts and encouragement. Extremely happy Dr. Watt assumed my care!!!
I am a health care provider myself. I had a painful ruptured disk and Dr.Watt did a microdiskectomy for me completely relieving my pain. Very thorough, very pleasant, excellent surgeon. Clinic staff also excellent. Calls to the clinic were surprisingly easy and questions etc. handled pleasantly and accurately. Excellent nursing and Physician Assistant care. I've been recommending their care whenever the opportunity occurs
Very knowledgable, caring, good at listening and explaining my surgery. Surgery was amazing Dr. Watt did an amazing job. Only 4 weeks later and I have less leg pain ang I am able to walk without my cane and drive again.
Dr. Watt is an excellent surgeon! He and his team provided me with stellar care. He explains everything to me as we go and he provided unexpected follow-up care. I had a spinal fusion in my lumbar region and I had heard nothing but bad information about the surgery. My surgery was a complete success and my recovery was quicker than most. Thank you Dr. Watt for giving me my life back! Salli Dell
