I ordered a Cold Brew from Tim Hortons at the drive-thru and asked the staff member about the difference between Cold Brew and iced coffee. I was told they are basically the same thing and there is no real difference. If that is the case, why is Cold Brew priced higher? I paid over $4 for a drink that tasted, looked, and felt almost identical to a regular iced coffee. I ordered my usual 2 medium refills through the drive thru. They had no idea what refill meant. Kept repeating it and telling them it was wrong on the screen. When I got to the window she told me the total and I told her, no they’re refill cups so it’s cheaper. She literally screamed at me “sir it’s the same price it doesn’t matter.” Now, it’s only 10 cents less per cup but knowing she’s wrong and the principle of it all just pissed me off.
