Wanted something local during our visit to River Oaks and this place was highly recommended. We enjoyed the evening somewhat. Food was good, including Ceviche, Queso "Fundido" and a Filet. Meal was fantastic but the portions were somewhat small for the price. I'll definitely be back.
When i first opened the menu there was mold inside the plastic laminate. Ordered a margarita and was handed a list of 80 tequilas, I just want a good margarita, Im not here to sample taquilas. Ordered the stuffed portabello mushrooms, what acctually came was a single small to medium stuffed mushroom cut in 4 small pieces.... And the margarita was the smallest Ive ever seen. I've dined here for years, but for the first time, I ordered to-go. Tonight, I ordered my favorite: carne asada (rare plus), creamed spinach & corn. Also asked for plantains with some salsa (their plantains are usually mixed with chips). My entire to-go order was packaged perfectly. Not only was everything delicious, but my steak was still hot & NOT overcooked. Incredibly satisfied with my food, so I wanted to leave a review. Thanks greatly!
Good service and food. Not the best TexMex I have had but it's up there and price is right. Short walk for me from home so will definitely be using again ���
Had a wonderful time at Tila's . The service was great. Got to meet Tila, I felt like I was eating at her home table. Highly recommended going there to eat .
