I’ve been a resident for a few years. While there are some positive aspects, I want to highlight a few issues that have led me to write this review, in hopes they will be addressed. First, the rent increases have been outrageous — one year, the rent went up by about $200. Pros: - location is amazing - we LOVE marina Del Rey Cons: - Management is abysmal. You can only text them or message them on the app and they take forever to respond. I think I only talked to a person face to face when I moved in. After that it was fragmented communication with days to respond to urgent requests. - UDR is a total joke - they like to tack on constant random charges when you move out. WE’VE NOW GONE WEEKS WITHOUT GETTING MAIL BECAUSE HOMELESS PEOPLE VANDALIZED THE MAILBOX AND UDR DON’T FEEL LIKE FIXING THEM. WE HAVE TO DRIVE TO USPS IN VENICE TO GET OUR MAIL. IT’S BEEN WEEKS AND UDR DOESN’T EVEN HAVE A TIMEFRAME FOR WHEN IT’LL BE RESOLVED. I’VE HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES SINCE MOVING HERE. STAW AWAY!!!! ZERO STARS -- Do not move in here. There is a 3 year massive construction project adjacent to entire building. Do not listen to lie by leasing office. they work from 7am-9pm M-F and even at 8am-6pm on Saturday. Your apartment will vibrate and you will not be able to work from home or even sleep. RUN AWAY, Do not move in here. These load noises will be here during the duration of your lease term. This is also in reference to the broken toilets, the flooding showers, the lack of management on-site.
