We are regulars at Tidewater but this most recent experience is why we will always come back. My 6 yr old English Mastiff was bitten by an copperhead and I was totally freaking out. I called and they told me to bring him right away. We waited about 10 minutes in the waiting area and then put into a room. Everyone was so calm..with the exception of me...They treated my baby and quickly calmed all of my fears. Everyone was so helpful and answered all of my questions. Absolutely wonderful. We moved here recently and they have seen two of our three dogs. Diagnosed and given the best care. Yesterday I took a kitten of a stray who seemed to be failing and with their guidance she is well today. Thank you Dr. Tacia, Dr Benedict , Dr Lisas, and Dr. Schultz....and the amazing loving and kind staff. Certainly recommend Tidewater Veterinary Hospital.

I've had so many problems with the vets. They misdiagnosed my horse and I spent tones of money on treatments my horse didn't need before I switched to another vet after he didn't get better! The small animal vets told me that my dog with a broken leg was fine and didn't need x-rays. I had to beg for x-rays and when it showed a break in the leg then they treated him by putting a cast on. They scheduled us to come back every week until the leg healed and every week I saw a different vet and was charged a different price, rangi... read more
