I LOVE Tidewater Psychiatric Services! I see Dr. Jeffrey Morse, who helped me get my life back. He is compassionate, listens to what you have to say, cares about your well-being, is very polite and professional, and never rushes you out if you need to discuss something. I recommend him to everyone, and someone I know now goes to see him. As far as the staff, they have ALWAYS been polite, professional and take care of anything that I need. Unfortunately I have to give a star. Dr Romero very good but staff unfriendly. I missed an appointment which was in fact cancelled but since I had a previous no show i was dropped just dumbfounded never had this problem with any of my other providers. I also had an appointment was there on time but check in so long staff said I may have to reschedule. I would suggest in the future to be a little more understanding/considerate with your patients and maybe send staff to a class on customer service.
The front desk receptionist: Very rude, condescending, borderline verbally abusive, and any task that's expected of them seems to be an ordeal. They simply don't want to be there! Phone calls are very difficult to get through and the reminder appointments are often not implemented. Any request to the front desk is always answered in a very aggressive verbal abusive fashion.
