We chose this office for our teens because it was not only inviting to us, as parents, but to them. They have the latest technologies and truly have personalized customer service, from touch screen check-in to Kurig coffee to ipads and personal service with a smile. If you are going to pay for orthodontics somewhere anyway, it's well worth it to visit Dr. Thurman's office. You'll see what I mean.

Thurman Orthodondics is a cut above all others. The staff is amazing and from the time we stepped through the door, to the time we walked out the door, they made us feel like a part of the "family". They helped put my daughters nerves at ease and kept me informed at every stage. The office is very neat and clean. If you have a child in need of dental work, I highly recommend Thurman Orthodontics.
I can't believe I have braces! But I'm so thankful I came to Thurman Orthodontics. The staff was unbelievably nice and super cool. I was pretty nervous but they helped me stay calm and relaxed. They didn't rush me, and I liked that they gave me options but didn't force anything on me. Dr. T was super informative and sincere. I ended up getting the ceramic braces, and I love them. My daughter and I had went to several diffrent orthodontists before we fount DR. Therman's office. Man where we lucky to find them. They are amazing as soon as you walk through the door you feel at home. They make you feel like family not just a patient. My daughter was so scared until she met DR. Dr. Thurman and his staff I highly recommend them to anybody looking to get braces his dad is so friendly and helpful I couldn't believe it they go beyond expectations to make you feel comfortable and to make sure your visit was what you expected blew me away the next day after my youngest got her braces on her staff called just to check up on her to make sure she was doing okay who does that awesome highly recommended

Thurman Orthodontist are amazing! After moving to Bakersfield from Memphis I thought the expenses were going to go up and it's so hard to find an orthodontist who really cares about your needs, but Dr. Thurman and his staff was everything I needed. I made an appointment for my daughter to get a second opinion for her tongue thrust. I was told by another office that she needed $2500 worth of work. I wanted a second opinion because she is 7 and I only wanted to go through this process once. When I walked into the office I thought for sure they were going to want to charge me double than the other orthodontist we visited. I was wrong!
