Great guest service inclined staff, wonderful manager, great rooms, and walking distance to everything.
If you want to be close to the city and a clean cool room. This place is outstanding. And best of it all, eco friendly, no disposable cups!!!!!!
This place was great! Jim, the manager is so friendly. The room was super clean and very convenient to get around Savannah. The RC cola and moon pies were a nice treat. I will stay here again next time I come to visit my daughter.
We loved our stay at the Thunderbird Inn for my birthday this year. From the retro vibes, colors, donuts, popcorn, moonpies, and overall vibe, this is a cool hotel! We hope to be back again!
Such a fun retro place. Exceptionally clean & well done theming. Attention to detail, comfortable & roomy. Wide variety of Krispy Kreme doughnuts in the morning. Only negative is that the bathroom fan never stops but we just closed the door. There are no drawers but I don’t consider that a negative. Also, no trash can in bathroom. If you don’t want feminine products flushed give us a place to dispose of them. Would definitely you again.
Great place, everything is so clean and reasonable
Upon check in we found the previous renters leftovers in fridge, the bed and pillows are extremely uncomfortable. The location is extremely loud. The bathroom shower is a joke! The curtain doesn't even reach the bottom of the shower side so the floor gets extremely wet. Parking is extra at $15 a night. Bed was full of Grit and dead ants!! Lots of better options in Savannah......
We loved our stay at the Thunderbird ! Loved the retro decor! Beds were super comfy & rooms were very clean ! Love the moonpies & R C colas ..... its a southern thing! Loved the complimentary bikes ! We enjoyed our morning ride ! The music playing was nice! Loved the Krispy Kreme doughnuts in the morning ... fresh & lot of variety to pick from! Super nice staff! Can’t wait to come back !!
