Great place to stay, wouldn't go anywhere else on the Gulf. Staff is excellent
Clean. Newly renovated. Great location. 2 pools and 2 bars can't go wrong. Friendly staff as well.
We went to brunch around 11 am..,food was cold and the wautress said the fruit was gone because they had to make it last from the Sat. Buffet. Mimosas were good.we werent satisfied with the brunch for the price. Mayb charge less for the buffet and give 2.00 mimosas, that'll b fair to the ones who dont drink. The wait staff was friendly.
We went there in October 2016 last minute because of the hurricane that hit the east coast!! So thankful for the hurricane because Thunderbird most likely will be our go to resort every year now!! I read review that the beach was way too far of a walk but it wasn't bad. In fact, we have a 4 and 7 year old at time of vacation and we did not have to worry one bit!! They ran around while we sat on our balcony!! BEST PLACE EVER!! Family owned and operated and they treat you like family!! Thank you thunderbird!!

Beautiful place, clean and friendly staff! Kite festival was cool as well!
Great outdoor bar live music in the afternoon. Real cold beer nice guy bartending
