Lower standards, be aware
The airport service was very bad. There was no courtesy even to regular customers. I couldn't return the car on the specified day due to heavy snow - I lived 100 km away. I returned it the next day, I had informed them in advance, they charged me $100 more for that one day. To give you an idea, I paid $200 for a week - 7 days - and +$100 for a day of delay. This is unprofessional, especially for a regular customer, especially since my delay was due to overwhelming snow.
NEVER RENT FROM THESE THREE...DOLLAR, THRIFTY, HERTZ!!! THIS IS THE WORST SCAM. WE BOOKED THROUGH EXPEDIA-ALL PAID FOR A WEEK. THEY SAID COULD NOT FIND BOOKING, HAD EXPEDIA SPEAK TO EMPLOYEE, THE COUNTER PERSON SAID DIDN'T MATTER, BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY CARS. ZERO RESOLUTION, ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. WARNING: AVOID AT ALL COST!!! Worst customer service I’ve ever had at a car rental company. They gave away our confirmed car, they were then sold out of other cars, and head office refused to modify our reservation. Big scam. If you book with Thrifty there is ZERO guarantee you’ll have a car. There is a reason why their Google reviews are so terrible!!!
