Very Rude Management The rudeness and lack of care in how management speaks to loyal customers is beyond appalling and I personally will never shop there again.

This place was a disappointment upon entry. The made my grandkids, 5ys old, either they wear a mask OR sit in the cart, OR leave. 1) 5yo does NOT require mask, 2) must be a virus free bubble around cart. Very rude employee also made announcement over the intercom so all shoppers knew who it was directed at. Then we stand in line behind people, get to register, and told to stand in other long line because she’s done working. I rate this place a 0/5.
They kicked us out because we were carrying my child’s diaper bag. I called to talk with the manager and he changed what the policy was multiple times for saying no backpacks and I could have it with a different strap which would negate the whole size thing. He could not give me guidelines on what size was a “large” bag. The cashiers were talking bad about me for complaining and my mother in law heard one of them say that I was complaining because I wasn’t able to use my bad to steal from them. Thrift Store USA is NOT the place to shop! They refused I come inside with my 5 year old nephew. He does not wear a mask due to having asthma and being FIVE YEARS OLD. The CDC says that children under 10 should not wear a mask. And again, he is also asthmatic. The older gentleman at the door named Charlie refused us entry due to him not wearing a mask. CDC says children older than 2 should wear a mask. Children do spread the virus. We do not let anyone shop without a mask. We do not allow medical exceptions as too many people are faking an exception for political reasons or out of stupidity.
RecommendedKudos to Thrift Store USA on Little Creek in Norfolk! Signs at the doors were firm in requiring masks. They played a running announcement that everyone had to be masked and that they would provide masks to those who did not have them. And a store employee patrolled the aisles and politely but firmly asked the one couple we saw without masks to put theirs on and then gave them masks when they said they didn't have any.
They are harassing older people who meet The mask exceptions.
