Healthy Teeth During Cancer This was my first visit to the dentist since I had been diagnosed with breast cancer. I appreciate the gentleness of how my dental hygienist consulted me, encouraged me, and guided me through this visit. Only cleaning will be done during my visits while I'm going through this journey with cancer. Suggestions on how to keep my mouth clean and free from infection were also provided.
