We stayed at the lodge for just a day as we didn’t know how this lodge was amazing. But we saw many wildlife animals. We had a great time during the stay and wanna stay here again though we live in Japan.
Recently stayed at Thousand Lakes Lodge. While the location is unique, it was disheartening to be misled by inaccurate information about the room. I booked a room advertised as having a window. On arrival though, it only had a skylight. If you’re thinking of booking an 'Explorer Room' and don’t want to feel like you're trapped in a windowless cell, I recommend clarifying whether you have a view or not.
Could not fault a thing. Beautiful lodge we had to ourselves for 3 nights and days. Amazing meals. I started a puzzle. Tassie devils and quolls outside the window. Scenery amazing. Dying to go back in season so the men folk can fish
Brilliant place if you are looking for somewhere quiet and the beds are the most co.fortable I have ever slept in
