RecommendedWe recently boarded our 2 pups for 7 days at Thousand Hills in SLO. We have never been away from them that long and this was our first time boarding at THPR. We got daily reports and pictures! It was such a relief to see that our girls were having a good time 😊 Staff is very friendly and really great with our dogs.

Our dog Riley spent two weeks at Thousand Hills and he absolutely loved every minute of it! We picked him up about every third day and took him for a home visit. Every time we returned he pulled on the leash to get back in there and play with his friends! The staff were all wonderful and the daily report cards were adorable. We will definitely go back to thousand hills when we are visiting the Morro Bay area. This was our first experience boarding Riley and it could not have been better!

What a gem! Our first out of town trip with our fur baby. We were unsure how he’d do at the hotel. We shortly found out...not well. He had a tee time for 1 pm the next day. I found a few resorts but after yelp and Facebook I decided with Thousand Hills! Luckily at 7:30 when I called they said bring him on in! 10:20-5:15 He did awesome! He played and made new friends. I’m sure if he could talk he’d tell us he has new friends on Facebook, insta and Snapchat.

I recommend Thousand Hills Pet Resort for boarding services because the place is clean, staff is pleasant and professional and my dog is happy when I pick him up.
I love THPR and have been going for about six months, I have boarded my dog twice and gone to daycare about 15 times. I think the price of $24/day is worth it for an 8.5 hour day and my queensland mix comes home sooo tired and happy, and it's hard to get her tired out! I feel that THPR does a really good job accomodating my dog as well because she does not get along with 100% of dogs and crowd situations, so THPR has always adjusted to her and put her in less populated and more quiet areas, which I really appreciate. We use Thousand Hills often to board our two dogs. (Aussie and Corgi). We have used them for several years and our pups are always happy and exhausted when we get them back from boarding. If they stay for more than a few nights we have them groomed on the day of pick up and that is just an added benefit. Recommend them highly! Joan

Thousand Hills is awesome! Our beagle loves it there. The staff is excellent and we are so glad to have somewhere to leave him with confidence that he is in good hands.
