I had a move yesterday by Thoughtful moving and was told by Justin B. the highest the move would run me would be around $550.00. The mover Mike who showed up 45 minutes earlier than what I told them to show up immediately told me that he needed the payment in CASH or a money order for him to make the move. He would NOT accept credit cards even after I had paid $200.00 upfront on my credit card. I had to go get a cash advance on my credit card since I was short on cash. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY !!!!!! I need a moving company and decided to use a small business instead of a main chain ( first mistake) I was given an prices and agreed to the final figure. The movers literally took 3 hours to move 2 long dressers , a Chester , two twins side beds and a king size bed. I have never seen people deliberately take hours to move items. Be wary! We did not have a good experience with this company! When we went online to get quotes from moving companies, Ryan McEwan of Thoughtful Moving of FL. LLC was the first one to contact us. He was extremely nice and sent us a quote of $3820 to move us from Tampa Fl. to Chattanooga Tn. The only items they were moving were the large items and furniture, no boxes. Justin Brown was the most aggressive - called me about four times and texted me - all in one day until I answered. Thought that I had a good dialogue with him. Movers showed up late, took breaks then charged for them, overcharged by one hour x two movers, lost apartment key fob I had to pay apartment $100.00 penalty.
