Thoughtful Movers are fraud company and their representative Justin B. committing scams and crimes by misrepresenting. They destroyed our furniture and asking 3000 dollars more than initial quoted price of 1400 for moving from Tampa to Orlando. We did told them we will pay extra 1000 dollars up to 2400 but they blackmail and threatened to take truck to storage and auction if we do not pay 4400 dollars. I really tried not to be this person but the people with this company have gave me no choice. Everything went so well at the beginning although expensive it was decently price for what was offered. Then when they came to pick up my stuff I got charged an extra $600 dollars for who knows what because the person I was speaking with (Justin B.) never gave me an answer. Do not use them. Bad business and I am fuming right now. Do Not use this place. So very disappointed and I still do not have my missing furniture.
These people belong in jail. The price they quote ends being $2000 more. When you cannot pay the full added amount they withhold items worth way more than what you owe. The items they hold hostage are sent back to Florida. Now I have to pay for storage and redelivery to SC. I wish I would have the BBB reviews before. I am a retired vet and got screwed big time. I now need to contact the Fl attorney generals office. Need to wait till I get stuff they are holding hostage, because these people are vindictive.

Charles were sorry you fee this way. You contracted us to move you from Ellenton fl to Greer sc You have extra property and you signed the revised estimate provided to you at pick up. When we arrived you were short 600 on the agreed upon bill. In stead of keeping all your property as out contract alows, it was decided to hold on to your washer dryer bicycle and 2 tool boxes in hopes you would pay the agreed up balance. I hired this company (?) in April, 2021 which included storing my items and moving them from Florida to Tennessee. I have had nothing but grief from these people and now none of the three I've dealt with, including the owner of said business, will respond to my texts or phone calls. They have totally demolished some of my items, including a very precious antique belonging to my grandmother, date-stampted 1892! It traveled safely from Europe to NJ to CO to FL just fine. This company is horrible they moved me 3bedroom apartment took them 8 1/2 hours taking smoke breaks no supervision at all and justin gave me price my move was to a storage unit down the street and ot should have taken 4 hours and it took almost 9hours movers were late and took their time .the move cost me 900 . This company started out well but went downhill quickly - they packed & stored my home as agreed when we signed the contract. Come delivery time they brought all the furniture & boxes they packed with two very important exceptions - they forgot our dining room table & a collapsible step-stool. I was quoted $627.02 to load up. I was moving an hour & 45 minutes away. They said they hired only veterans which tugged at my heart. My 1st deceased husband was a veteran. They play on that 🤬 2 weaklings showed up that didn't have a muscle between them. Took all day to get a little, destroying the doorwall & shed thresholds. You didn't have everything packed up at the point of booking.
