JUST.DONT Been a customer with thorson for some years If someone were to ask how i rate there service,.................I would say what you mean ..what service.... thorson needs a to be reducated on customer service which they happen to fail on to me they could take some notes from glendale dealer ship now they are the example of over and beyond awsome customer service. Mrs I'd go with one service advisor ONLY. Juan Corona. He's nice, respectful, and conscientious. Unfortunately I have not been impressed by the service technicians. It takes 2 visits on average to get the one problem fixed, but at least Juan will keep working with you to get it fixed.
Service dept sux – I went in for some Saturn warranty work. Joe the service writer must have been absent the day GM came by to clean house to sweep away hindrances to their recovery. How do I know? Because Joe is still there. He left a distinct first impression of Thorson, and it was not good. He turned away a potential service customer by arguing about the 3/36 factory warranty. Incompetent Service Department Beware, they will waste your time and money. Incompetent Service Advisors and technicians. Very unprofessional and worst of all, the service advisor that helped me is a liar.. I live in Pasadena and will never take my GMC their again, 4 trips and they could not solve the problem. I Took the vehicle to Cerritos GMC (30 miles drive from pasadena each way), they fixed it the same day.
A Wonderful Surprise to Discover Amazing Service! We ignored all negative reviews and went anyway for a test drive at Thorson in Pasadena. So glad we did! The experience couldn't have been better nor more of a pleasant surprise. We were first very interested in a new car, then changed our minds and decided on a used car, at least $10K less. Thorson Motor Waste of time. Terrible service The experience I had with Thorson Motor was terrible. The salesperson who handles commercial vehicles Michael Garringer was trying to give an Ok service but after closing the sale he started acting helpless to keep the promises. Long story short Thorson failed to deliver what they charged me for. It took me two month to get my money back. Waste of time. Terrible customer service. Never again I will go there.
Unfriendly Sales Person - Stay Away We spoke to a sales rep on the phone who was very helpful which encouraged us to go to Thorson. We were met with Michael at the lot, who was unfriendly, unhelpful with a "don't bother me" attitude. Disappointed we bought a car from Bunning instead after wasting an 1.5 hours at Thorson.
Liz P When our G M pickup conked out on the 405 in Long Beach, the dealer had a tow truck pick it up and fixed the problem which was still under warranty. Another time we took our truck to a local dealer for a routine maintenance job and we were quoted nearly $2000.-- to fix it. Thorson sent a tow truck and took the pickup back to Pasadena where it was fixed for about $300.00. Thorson is the BEST!!!
Perfect car salesman - Thorson Motors-Pasadena Yes, a perfect car salesman! At Thorson Motor Center in Pasadena. Jeff Purcell LISTENED and answered my questions. He showed me what I wanted to see. He was NEVER PUSHY. He gave me his card and didn't even know my last name. When I'm ready, I'll buy from him.
