Definitely a HIPPA violation. I was seen here on 8/23 and they put me on a RECLINER in the hallway with 4 others infront of me no privacy curtains or walls just a normal hallway. Then the doctor saw me there and discussed my entire medical history infront of everyone in an open hallway. Is this not a violation of HIPPA?? how are they allowed to see us in an open hallway😭
I went in to Thornton Hospital for a colonoscopy and the nurse that was assisting and trying to start my IV poked me three different times and could not get the IV in my arm. Someone else had to do it. I was extremely bruised the next day my whole lower forearm and my mid elbow is completely bruised. I don’t understand the incompetence, I literally can’t wear any sleeveless tops because I have so many horrible bruises on my arm. This is totally unacceptable. You should not have nurses that do not know how to insert IVs.
Nice hospital pay off the UCSD medical system. There is a good size car park nearby and they have valet parking. Great staff
Dr. Ryan O'Leary took care of my knee and Thornton hospital took care of me the following three days. I can't imagine what it would have been like at the new hospital. Gladys, Marj, Jerry, Mike, Crystal, and many many more took great care of me. The food was pretty good especially for hospital food. My only complaint, and four stars; my room is right next to the nurse's station and they love to make a lot of noise, especially in the middle of the night when you're trying to sleep.
