Dr. Lisa Thomsen is by far the very best physician I have ever been to. She has an extra sense about her and sees more than just the physical. Dr. Thomsen is kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I have full confidence in everything she does. This is why my 89 year old mother also has Dr. Thomsen as her primary physician.
I would like to request that when dr is out her voice mail reflects that. I called the office two days in a row and heard the recording of office hours saying the office was open. I called the exchange and requested the option to speak to the Dr exchange to find out why if the office was open I got this message. It was only then I found out Dr was out for two days.
Started off good, but after a few months Dr. Thomsen became nonchalant and sarcastic. It appears to be a case of burn out and disinterest. I am looking for another doctor that cares about my well-being.
My second visit and she explains everything to you it made all my worries go away I love the way she gets involved with the patient
I follow what Dr. Thomsen recommends and have been pleased about the referrals to see about problems that have been nagging me. Toenail fungus was eating up my feet. Diabetes 2 is still a problem. I have terrible side effects with the drugs that are making life very limiting. Generally, I am much better off than I was when I first met her.
Arrived for a 3:30 appt at 3:25. There was one pt (in a WC) with her adult daughter in the waiting room. They said the Dr is runnning behind that they had a 3:00 appt. They were then taken to an exam rm. At about 4:00 another pt came in. At 4:10 she was taken back. We waited until 4:55 before going to an exam rm. Girl at desk lied to me saying that the lady in the WC had just left 5 min b4 and the other pt hadn't been seen yet. I saw both of them leave b4 we were seen. Dr came in for 5 min. Done
