Dr. Thomsen actively monitors all aspects of my health and works with me to provide realistic lifestyle recommendations. She fulfills her role as a PCP very well, recommending and following up on specialists as needed. She is approachable and responsive. I strongly recommend her.
Dr Thomsen is practical minded, flexible with treatment approaches and up do date on the latest science.
I follow what Dr. Thomsen recommends and have been pleased about the referrals to see about problems that have been nagging me. Toenail fungus was eating up my feet and she recommended a skilled and caring podiatrist. Diabetes 2 is still an uncontrolled problem but Doc Thomsen is guiding my fight with meds. Doctor explains reasons and consequences of what needs to be done and why. I have GI, heart, and spinal problems which limit physical activity but she listens and I am grateful for her hard work on my behalf.
I have been going to Dr. Thomsen for many years and have always found her to be professional and someone who really cares about her patients. She is also an advocate of preventative medicine and passes on information that can help with a better quality of life. I have chronic pain and whenever I have a flare up her staff will get me in to see her on the same day. There is sometime a wait but that is because she takes time to listen and is very thorough in testing and assessment. I highly recommend her as an excellent doctor!
Almost 7 years ago I went in out of concern for a painful hemorrhoid. Dr. Thomsen said I did not have hemorrhoids or any other serious problems but that I had a skin tag that she would only remove after I was done having kids, which I hadn’t even had my first yet! I can't believe Dr Thompson has a waiting list. Don't bother just find another doctor that gives a care. Dr. Thompson has little interest in patient opinion and she practices traditional drug pushing treatments.
person who answers the phone should have a high school degree or some professionalism!

Dr. Lisa Thomsen is by far the very best physician I have ever been to. She has an extra sense about her and sees more than just the physical. Dr. Thomsen is kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I have full confidence in everything she does. This is why my 89 year old mother also has Dr. Thomsen as her primary physician.
