Dr. Mitchell, himself is very polite person and a great dentist. Very accurate and makes great recommendations. One can trust that he is not trying to just make money. His staff rocks Lam, does most of the periodontal work and the experience was painless, and wonderful. I hate going to a dentist, I loved all the treatment and help I received here. Roslyn, she is wonderful and a great expert dealing with insurance and will work to any patients total satisfaction. Well mannered polite and caring. Wonderful Dr. Great Staff
Dr. Mitchell has great difficulty listening to patient input or concerns. This is especially true when the unfortunate reality is that the treatment prescribeed is not working. He is very much like the PBS television show "Doctor Martin" - only Dr. Martin, while having no people skills, is generally right. Would not recommend....
Dr. Mitchell is a very talented dentist. One of the best I've found, and that is the reason my family has stayed with him all these years. However, the one downside is that he is contracted only with Delta Dental (WDS). Despite this fact, we stayed with him and paid the difference that the insurance didn't cover. His charges are mostly reasonable and we thought it worthwhile staying with him despite: 1. We moving residences and the distance becoming a factor and 2. partial insurance coverage. Slow Methodical but very good results. Have had many crowns and fillings, never had a bad result or had to return for adjustment. Quite expensive.
Dr Mitchell is the WORST dentist I have ever been "treated" by. He is brutal and abrasive and has a terrible chair-side manner. On my last visit he performed a procedure without telling me what he was doing or how much it was going to cost until after he performed it. He did not consulting with me if I wanted it done and did not give me a chance to see if the procedure was covered by my insurance. Turns out it was not. I am being stuck with a bill for $242.
It has been an absolutly wonderful experience every time. Thank you, Dr Mitchell.
