Let me start by saying this appointment was for my adult son. We should have walked out upon entering the reception area, it was filthy and cluttered. The session started and took place in the reception area with me there. My son was never asked if he agreed to me being in the session. Should have been my second sign to get up and walk out. Very unprofessional. He don’t listen. He’s very unorganized and the office is filthy and cluttered.
Disappointing experience. Didn’t provide any helpful tools to improve communication in relationship. Administrative staff changes weekly causing confusion with scheduling.
He is a deep, compassionate, experienced, intelligent practitioner. I will always be grateful to him.
I went to Dr. Truss a few years ago when my personal life hit bottom. He helped me realize how my unhappiness was due to how I was coping with upsetting events in my childhood that had manifested themselves into anger & addictive behaviors in adulthood, and also how even small emotionally hurtful events as a child can effect you as an adult in a big way. I'm happy to say I'm getting married now, which wouldn't have been possible prior to my work w/ Dr. Truss. Just wanted to say thank you!
In late 2014, I saw Dr. Truss regarding a family problem that was causing difficulties for me. He is the best; after three months of talking with him and gaining insight into myself and the problem, I was able to more forward with my life effectively. I would highly recommend him as a therapist.
