I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. Their office was the absolute perfect temperature. It was so nice to be able to get out of the weather outside and sit in a relaxing, comfortable office. If you have to ask, you may also want to ask for an extended payment plan - but you absolutely get what you pay for with Dr. Kuhn. Your scheduling patience and ready checkbook will buy you the most minutely perfect, gorgeous, lifetime-of-good-health-supportive dentistry known to man. It may help to come armed with a thick skin, ready sense of humor, and/or a competition-ready "highly evolved aura" . I'm crazy about Dr. Tom. Been going to him for 30 years - will not let anyone else touch my teeth. He is truly Dr. Painless. I have referred family, friends - my ex husband still goes to him. Dr. Tom is a very kind and caring person as well as a true artist. I would recommend him to anyone.
I've gone to Dr. Kuhn for over 25 years. He is a fabulous dentist with an excellent manner and a gentle touch. The prices can be high, but he is definitely worth it. The hygienists are like part of the family after all of these years. All of the work that myself and my family have had done by him and the others in his office is top notch. You would never know that I broke one of my front teeth in half because it looks perfect.
Dr. Kuhn was great. It was just expensive because my insurance didn't cover much. Recommended.
Tom was my dentist for 17 years, until I moved away from SF. I miss him and wish he were still my dentist. I always felt at home there and no dental work performed by him ever hurt. I miss you, Tom! Susan V.
I have known Tom for about twenty five years. He is talented and focused on providing optimal quality. As someone without insurance i considered his rates costly. Ultimately is turned out that dentists with lower prices created complications that would have made it less expensive to remain with Tom. Chairside manner? Kind, friendly, full of positive reinforcement while striving for perfection.
Dr. Kuhn is the best dentist I have ever been to! He is located in a very cool victorian house, and has the greatest staff! I have been his patient for several years now and have never had a negative experience. The hygiene staff is wonderful. Going to the dentist with Dr. Kuhn is like going to see a friend...he does great yo-yo tricks and they bake fresh bread in their office each day....no dental smells!! If you need a great dentist I can't recommend Dr. Kuhn more highly.
