Took his time explaining my severe issue. Very forthright about surgery not recommended due to my health. He would help as much as possible.
Dr. Brattain - Is not truthful in his response statement... He failed to mention he may have felt intimidated by a young female coming into his office with a clip board, a list questions, who had researched the procedure for several years before deciding to have the surgery. I never stated “I absolutely had to wear high heels”... I didn’t want to be restricted from wearing ANY shoe nor continue to be in pain from wearing a tennis shoe. I went to Dr. Brattain for his opinion regarding my foot surgery. While he was one on many doctors I had I seen, I initially felt comfortable with him and his technique he informed me he would perform.He also agreed with the other doctors recommendations. I scheduled a follow up appointment to proceed with surgery. Dr. Brattain totally changed his mind in 2 wk. He tried to talk me out surgery and referred me to speak with someone else! He is a very insecure timid man that I will never trust!!!!

Ms. Jones is not being completely transparent in her statements. During her follow up she stated she had scheduled another appointment for another opinion and was very unsure of her desire to undergo the elective surgery. Her man concern was that she absolutely had to be able to wear high heeled shoes and could not see herself having to possibly give these up. It was for this reason I recommended she see someone else as I had to be honest with her and could not guarantee that type of outcome.
