The radiologist staff is so professional! Plus the nurse two accessed my power port, Tara, was outstanding! I've had my port accessed several times, but she explained what she was doing at each step! Plus she accessed it without the cold stuff they use at the Mitchell Cancer Center! All in all, great experience!
They are terrible! I went in with this huge ass INFECTED blister on my LEFT foot and I left with crutches and that's it. No Meds, no ointment, nothing. My foot is so swollen I can't bend my toes. There is obviously puss inside the blister and a red ring around it stating it's infected. I left on crutches and an off duty nurse helped me to my car holding my purse because no one else would help me. I saw the nurse practitioner for all of five mins. This has my my worst experience so far!! I usually love this hospital but this has been an awful time. After having some of the worst nurses on the sicu unit I feel like because I voiced my opinion to the unit manager i was put in a room that you can't even walk in a circle in!! It's literally big as a jail cell... We come all the way from Foley to this hospital and my husband still can't stay with me now that I'm in a floor room...I have had the worst month or 2 of my life!
