I am now fixing the 5th slab water leak in my house since I bought this house 6 years ago. Seeing all the other bad reviews Thomas homes is not going to fix anything.
A few years ago, we were genuinely excited and proud to buy our home in Carrington. It felt like we’d made it. A solid neighborhood, “gated community,” HOA and all supposedly something worth the money. Now? Total disappointment. This place is the Temu version of a gated community. We dump a ridiculous amount of money into HOA fees every year and have absolutely nothing to show for it. No real amenities. No value added. We want what we paid for! Carrington Residents. Is not trust worthy with you hOA will not give you an itemized breakdown when you level request it. Use your HOA funds to line his pockets
I just bought a house in January 2025. So many amenities promised for the neighborhood that hasn’t been done. I now understand that the pool, club house, tennis court, & pickleball court have been promised for 5 years. Gosh I wish I would have done more homework before I bought this house from Thomas Homes. Landscaping at the entrance has been worked on only for one month in the last 6 months, it’s horrible. Our neighborhood can not gain control of the HOA until 90% of properties are built out.
