We purchased a home and we totally regret it!!! So manufacturer recommendations for my siding is 2 staggered nails every 3-4ft. They had 2 nails (total) on a 9-10 ft strip of siding. Not even on each end. Me and 8 other neighbors all had similar damage from a basic storm. After living in a house that went through countless hurricanes with 0 damage and now, this house is falling apart with a basic storm, speaks volumes for their build quality. I will never buy one of their houses again. They are just as bad as DR Horton. The paint color they use isn’t what they say it is so in order to cover holes you have to basically paint the whole damn house. They cut corners. My dogs keep digging up building supplies in the backyard 4 years later. Several people in my neighborhood are getting together due to continued issues regarding septic issues. Poor customer service. I could go on for days.

Our HOA is $1200 a year for Carrington neighborhood. We were told there would be amenities, but have yet to have any progress of this, years later. Many of us have requested financial statements from the HOA and have yet to receive them. We love our house, but make sure you get things in writing if you’re being sold on amenities like the rest of us.
