I have been his patient for over 20 years, yes you may have to wait a while to see him, but the wait is worth it! Excellent Doctor!!!!!
Took 5 weeks to get an appointment. He told me that I am a brand new patient with no history, no prescriptions, and no diagnosis, after his friend and school mate was my doctor for 20 years, but quit Family Practice to be a Surgeon. He said I must provide him with records of every appointment, treatment, scan, and diagnostic test that happened to me for the last 25 years or he would not be my doctor. Obviously an impossible job, so I understood why local people pronounce his name, "Mathiass".
Dr. Mathias is very good and I recommend him, however every visit so far has been horribly scheduled. I've spent more time in the waiting room than with dr. my last visit I waited 3.5 hours for 30 minutes spent with dr. horrible in my opinion!!!
The best Dr. I have seen in Fl very through, rand listens, so glad to find a GREAT DR.
Dr tom has been my doctor for many years.excellant bed side manner and excellent follow up doctor. I highly recommend him as a personal and family doctor
I called this office to make an appt. The receptionist asked me what insurance I use & I told her. She said hold on she needed to check on something. Then she came back on the phone saying Oh sorry, the doctor isn't seeing any new patients. I said does this have to do with my insurance, she said Oh no, he's already packed & isn't taking on any more clients. So why didn't she tell me that in the beginning versus asking about the type of insurance I have. Very shady.
Sometimes they don't answer the phone for several days in a row... Never has my message to the doctor ever reached him when I tell the nurse on the phone.
