He was the most wonderful doctor I ever met. He will be dearly miss. My condolences to his family.
I first saw Dr Mathias in 1984 and been there ever since which should speak volumes to anyone looking for a primary care physician.. He is compassionate beyond belief. This man lives about 1 and 1/2 hours away from his practice and when my wife was hospitalized with a heart attack he was there at 7am checking up on her and at 7:30 pm doing the same. He coordinated her care with the cardiac and pulmonary Dr's making sure she was in the best hands available. I cannot imagine another Dr taking this kind of care for a patient an... read more
After moving to FL from Missouri it was scary looking for a new doctor but a friend referred Dr Mathias and we couldn't have been more happy! My husband and I both felt so relaxed with him and appreciated the time he spent with us .. getting to know and understand us .. our medical history. Dr Mathias is more than a doctor. He quickly became our friend and we wish him nothing but the best!

Excellent, he is a compassionate, knowledgeable, concerned driven doctor. If he cannot help he will refer you to someone who can. Takes much time with his patients! He is not without health issues, like us all, and We are very concerned about him lately!

I went to his office in 7-2018, problem was related to sleep apnea and an irregular heart beat in the morning. During my first consult with him he ask me if I ever experienced shortness of breath, I said no, not in an abnormal way. He asked me the same question 3 more times, I answered the same way - for whatever reason he put "shortness of breath" in his notes.
