I strongly advise against scheduling with this doctor or practice. Despite completing the entire scheduling process, my appointment was abruptly canceled just 20 minutes beforehand, with no alternative options offered. It was a significant waste of my time, and it's unlikely you'll actually secure the appointment you scheduled.

Had plantar fasciitis in left foot 4 years ago, got orthotics and a cortisone shot. Had same symptoms in right foot starting a year ago March 2023. Got new orthotics that had to be returned because the top started peeling. Got a cortisone shot in November which made the pain worse. I think he hit a nerve. Started PT end of January 2024. Everything makes the foot worse, but Dr. Melillo doesn't seem concerned. Had to ask for more X-rays to be taken, but haven't gotten any response since they were done last week. Office staff i... read more

Dr. Melilo wanted me to get nerve studiea and an MRI for the badly sprained ankle that cause resulted in severe peronial nerve damage and dropped foot. Had both the nerve studies and MRI and never heard from him on what follow up to do. Meanwhile, the drop foot and unstable ankle caused me to fall many times. Finally I made an appointment and all he offered me was to fuse my ankle. I was only 59 and not ready for a fused ankle. Went to another Podiatrist who offered me a tendon transfer. 7 weeks post op now and doing great! ... read more

Dr Melillo is really GREAT! He was wonderful with my older mom and gave her clear and compassionate explanation of what was wrong, what her treatment options were and what to expect from treatment. He gives very careful, easy to understand instructions for your self-care. He was extremely gentle and understanding of my mom's low pain threshold, taking extra care to be sure her toe was properly numbed before the ingrown toenail removal. The procedure went great and she is improving beautifully due to his treatment. Will defin... read more

Doc has been seeing me for many months. He was able to salvage a toe that I thought was lost to diabetes complications. But he persisted and the toe is now better than before. He has also addressed callous issues near a prior surgical site that was effecting my walk. I totally trust his judgement and talents in the field of podiatry.
