Dr. McNally is an amazing doctor. He listens to you and takes his time to make sure to answer your questions. If you want a doctor who cares and follows through this is the one to see.
Do not go to this doctor! I had unnecessary lower back surgery by him. I had seen this doctor about 5 years ago. I had pre-existing issues going on with my lower back. After an automobile accident made this worse, I went to see him. He told me that if I had my lamina taken out at levels L-3-L4, L4-L5, L5-S1, it would open up the space for the nerves to relax and open that area for definite pain relief. Summary: My lumbar fusion by Dr. McNally resolved numerous symptoms and introduced NO new ones. Highly recommended. TLDR: In 2024, at 80 years I was having increased buttock pain and instability walking. Dr. McNally (and another back surgeon) diagnosed "Spinal stenosis of lumbar region" -- meaning a narrowing of the spinal canal in the lower back (L4-L5 region) that was seriously squeezing the spinal cord.
