Unique landscaping and historical homes just one block from the town plaza. – In Short The grounds feature the owners' amazing garden with dozens of lovely roses. As well, there are pleasant sitting areas with water fountains, ideal for reading on warm, summer days. Accommodations are furnished with authentic Arts & Crafts pieces, fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. A full gourmet breakfast is served every morning. The town plaza is just a block away, and guests can cycle there on complimentary bikes provided by the inn.
Such a great place- had to share! – I had such an amazing time at the Thistle Dew Inn that I had to post. I travel to bed and breakfasts often, as I prefer them to hotels. Usually the atmosphere is very stuffy, with Victorian lace and uber-polite managers. Everyone at the Thistle Dew, from the owners (who I met) to the manager to the staff are very friendly.
