I was fortunate enough to be able to receive care from Dr.Daskalakis I felt completely at ease and in great care with everyone in his office I am very grateful I was able to have an excellent surgery and after care at this office
Dr. Daskalakis performed 2 emergency surgeries with the 2nd being a total colectomy, within 3 months due to severe diverticular disease and uncontrollable bleeding, and a fourth to put me back together after having a temporary illeostomy bag for 6 months. Dr. D. is an extremely accomplished surgeon and makes you feel like you're his only patient. He has gone above and beyond the standard of care. He cares so about his patients and I am forever grateful that this surgeon and I crossed paths.
I ended up in the ER for my appendix a few weeks back. I had to fortune of having Dr. D as my surgeon for the appendectomy. He was top notch! He has a great personality, he is informative and caring. While i was being prepped for surgery the team referred to him as being the best and reassured I was in good hands. He has a very good reputation with his fellow colleagues. At the follow up, he was genuinely concerned of my health. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Daskalakis treated/operated on my husband while he was fighting stage IV colon cancer. The doctor was skilled, focused, kind and the only doctor out of many who informed me of the true reality of the situation. I believe the others were trying to be positive as was Dr. Daskalakis, but he also told me the truth which was necessary for me to make critical, life altering decisions. Medical decisions affect more than just health and I'm so thankful that we were given this doctor in the ER.(2011)
