Worked with this shop for almost five years. 6 figures spent. Project estimated at $60k, and one year restoration, based on their inspecting a barn find car on my behalf onsite when it was pulled out of the barn, they also hauled it. Actual time, 4.5 years at Then and Now, and over $130k invested in restoration with them. If you want a full resto done in 6 months... go somewhere else and pay double. If you want things done right and these guys are great. Just like anybody they'll have a hiccup or two but they always make right. If you own a Buick... definitely go here....
Have had several cars worked on at TandN. Always satisfied.
Slow work is a compliment. They don't answer the phone most of the time, and never return calls. They lie about the timeline of work progress and the work they have done. Completely disorganized shop, management lacks understanding of what really goes on or lies to customers about work done. I will never use them again.
When I was working there it was a good restoration and mechanical shop.
Ridiculously disorganized and slow work! End result is good but they will look u in the eye and tell u a timeline then completely disregard it. Update 15 Jul 16--absolutely disorganized! They constantly say a vehicle will be ready yet it's not! They say anything to shut u up for the moment but then don't carry thru on their promises! Our 6 month restoration is now going on 19 months! Do NOT believe what they say and add an extra year or so to whatever timeline they give u.
