Had reservations for 6:30. Got there at 5:50 and went to the bar to have a drink before dinner. Lisa, the bartender was very friendly and saw to our needs quickly, even though the bar was very busy. We were able to be seated in the dining room at 6:15. Christine, our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly after being ordered and everything was excellent. Steaks came out exactly how we ordered them. We would recommend the Yard of Ale to everyone and can not wait to eat there again.
It’s difficult to find a restaurant with food prepared by a real chef. The Yard of Ale offers either a romantic atmosphere in the restaurant or a classic pub feel in the tavern while offering food prepared by an excellent, creative chef. Plenty of parking available, conveniently located right outside of Geneseo...check it out!
