To start off, the shrimp was good... the other food, not so much. Our hush puppies were burnt so much that we could not eat them. One friend ordered grilled scallops. She literally got 3 for $11.00. That is a bit much if you ask me. It's not a place I'd go back to anytime soon. I was not at all blown away at all.
Love it! Best seafood in SC. We live in Lexington but love to make a trip to The Wreck in Mt Pleasant as often as possible!!
If you want fancy don't go here. Order alacarte the shrimp and scallops are great.
This was recommended by some friends with us that are frequent visitors to Charleston. Even they said the visit this trip was sub-par from previous visits. The food was unremarkable and had too much spice on it. I ordered grilled Shrimp and Scallops. The rice side-dish was completely dried out and inedible. Hush-puppies were good. Great food great service very rustic atmosphere just what we southern boys love. Seafood fried to perfection with a light batter. Loved everything.
