Best shrimp, scallops, and oysters you will find! If your looking for fancy building and people go elsewhere, if it's the best, freshest seafood your after this is it!
I love the wreck! Some locals brought me here for the first time 18 years ago. We pulled up to it on their boat and went in and ate. Every time I've been back down to Charleston, I've tried to make it here. The seafood is always great here!!
Basically the place is a wreck, and nothing charming about it. Plastic chairs and tables, paper for a table cloth, and then your served on paper plates also. The food arrived very quickly, probably because most of it is prepared and just waiting in the kitchen to slap on your plate. I had the scallops and grilled shrimp ($1 extra to grill...why, too hard to throw it on a grill as opposed to throwing it in the deep fryer with everything else?) everthing on my plate was pretty much tasteless with the exception of the hushpuppy... read more
The food was delicious. Prices too high for quantity received.
We stumbled upon the Wreck one day a couple of years ago and fell in love with it. Great Low Country fresh seafood cooking; not pretentious. We are looking forward to visiting in May 2017 when we travel to Charleston.
