The Wooden Spoon is a great spot for enjoying inventive food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Decked in art, the eatery has quite a charm which is effortlessly carried into their food as well. A brainchild of Chef Steve Pilon, the menu focuses on the use of local ingredients and innovative techniques. Interesting salads, sandwiches and wraps along with their famous lunch box are popular items on their lunch menu, while the dinner menu is lined with varieties of tapas. I like the selection of Gluten Free food and that it was clearly noted on the menu. I liked the staff and the services. I felt the prices were about 25% higher than they should be for the food quality and restaurant decor/location. I had the Jambalaya and I was warned by the waitress that it was spicy. I falsely assumed it was New Orleans like spicy. It was Thia like spicy which was too hot for my taste. I wont be running back anytime time soon. At these prices their are a lot of good choices in the area.

My boyfriend Jake and I were there Friday for dinner. I apologize for not complimenting the chef and waitstaff. We are on a restricted diet. The waitress kindly said we could substitute anything. We did and it was absolutely delicious! Especially the pork belly appetizer with pickled ginger. The pan fried trout and vegetables were so so good. I had good food endorphins for hours. Thankyou! Excited to go back!
