RecommendedAs much as I hate being put in the Hospital, this is the Only Hospital that I go to and Trust. I've been admitted many times over the last few years,and they have Saved my life more than once,Literally!! Most nurses there are Great,some just Good and honestly Care about you,not only as a patient but as a human being. The hospital is nice but the dr and phone nurses are incredibly rude.
This hospital may need a class action lawsuit for sending senior citizens wrongly coded expenses to collections rather than fixing the mistake they made. Only 2 % of Medicare denials are ever appealed. The appeals have a 80 to 90% success rate. The rate hospitals are paid on is a quality rate. With coding violations and overcharging dropping the hospitals billing rate paid to them by Medicare. Deacon Deaconess Gateway Hospital is so understaffed that they have nobody that knows how to change and urine oscopy bag when I know 13 year old kids that could change one it takes him forever to even actually come check on the patient or to feed them it's their job that's why we pay you guys all this money to you know take care of the patient when really don't do your job you said if I can computer and type all motherfuking day and then expect the family to actually feed them when that's your guys's job and you're supposed ... read more
RecommendedHaving my baby at Women’s was the best experience I could’ve had considering my csection. The nurses in L & D were amazing to me and lactation was there to help me at any time, day or night. I am truly thankful for my nurse, Lexi, who went above and beyond for me.
