Came here on a Saturday night suggestions. I asked in a New Milford fb forum and was given lots of choices but the white horse sounded interesting. We were beyond impressed. Even though it was extremely busy, we were seated right away, staff was friendly and attentive without being over bearing. The attention to detail in thier dishes is also amazing. Every thing was beautiful and thoughtful. We will definitely be adding it to our list of favorites. :)

My wife and I were looking for a place for lunch. Lots of cars in the parking lot so though we would give it a try. We did not have reservations but were told they could seat us in 15 minutes. We went to the bar for a drink and were quickly served. It only took them a short time to come to seat us. Sat by the back window overlooking a beautiful clear running stream. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. We were quickly served and our food was delicious. We had the most amazing desserts. We can't wait to go back.
Great appetizers, dinner and dessert in the dining area then over to the bar area near the fire place for Mexican coffee and good conversation. Great service and ambiance:)

My prime rib came out ice cold like it was removed from the refrigerator and just put on my plate. I informed the waitress and it was immediately taken care of and I was pleased to see that my dessert was on the house. So all in all I would recommend the white horse to friends
The tavern is my favorite place to have lunch or dinner.
