I’m from West Michigan, and we simply don’t have any restaurants that offer the unique combination of atmosphere and great food menu The White Horse has. I love to eat here whenever I visit. By far and away one of my top 5 favorite restaurants. Anytime some near us brings up the idea of what type of restaurant should someone open around where I live, I always mention and rave about the White Horse in Connecticut.
Another wonderful meal at White Horse! Service was wonderful and food was great, as always! Loved my birthday dinner!
Loved it! Worth the drive from New York. Food was great, we had chicken pot pie and shepards pie We ate in bar area loved the decor. Will def go back in the near future
Our first experience and we were completely satisfied. Portions were plentiful and delicious. Serving staff attentive, courteous and friendly.
Overall I had an (GOOD) time, my guests had a great experience . The food that I ate was spot on. My only disappointment was I had a reservation for 7:45 and by the time we were placing our orders, NO PRIME RIB. We decided earlier in the day to dine and I knew from publications and word of mouth that the prime rib was in a category of its own. I was so looking for a meal of prime rib.
