Visiting from Minneapolis and closed the place down last night. The band was Modern Don Juan's and they are excellent!
Best "honey tonk" in Austin, a lot of culture and variety.
This place is magical. If you don't like it, you are probably an asshole.

Great live music, almost always free, lots of dancers, cold beer, friendly staff. A perfect honky tonk! A sweet little gem of the city. They even have a great taco trailer on the back patio for when you need to refuel.
