First time I came here was on my first visit to the US back in 1977. It was great back then and it's great today. Best gravity pulled pint in America with the best choice of beers. The ambience is perfectly off kilter and, the best part is it's not so loud that you can't have a decent conversation. Wish they still had the Raw Bar that they had right inside the front door in 1977 but it's just as well, if it was still there we'd never leave. We very rarely go to B'more without dropping in. My home away from home...
My favorite bar in Fells for the last 20 years. Great atmosphere and they still have my mug!

Catchy name made the decision to visit this pub after picking up our son and his friend from the marina. They had been out to sea for over a month. All we wanted were some beers and dinner. A bit odd that there is no table service but the bartender couldnt be nicer. We were told up front there would be a wait for anything that wasnt in the fryer. 45 min for 2 pizzas and a wrap. (Fish and chips came out in 15 min). Worth the wait! Yummy. Tons of beers to choose from. Will be back!
Awesome Bloody Marys, food & service!! Friendly bartenders are icing on the cake!! We always have a great time at The Wharf Rat!!! 😊
Had a good time at the Wharf Rat. Beers were good and the chicken sliders were excellent. Would go back next time in Baltimore.
