I lived in this building for 18 months and after my move out I was sent a bill for 3967 $ for floor replacement my apartment was only 500 sqf and floor was not in best condition when I moved in and as an architect I do have information about this generic extremely cheap floor which in the projects I have worked on myself it costs around 4 $ per sqf including labor so here is the fact not only I never saw a dime back from my deposit I also ended up with this huge bill. Dishonest business practices. I had a zero balance on my account when I moved out of the apartment. I then get an email from them five months later stating I owe them 1400. I told them I am not paying that. A month later the price they said I owe them is 477 well it went down. I asked for documentation as to how this price came about apparently they can not give me any documentation. It seems very odd that there is no financial records that can be shared?
