My wife and I were canceled from our flight from Philadelphia International AirPort and booked a room through app Hotel Tonight. We took an Uber from Airport in the rain. At desk the attendant was extremely nice and accommodating. We were directed to a pleasant room although the wood by door frame by the lock was in disrepair. I found my stay at the Warwick Hotel Rittenhouse Square disappointing for several reasons. The most shocking was seeing a Confederate flag displayed at the headboard in my room. I found this highly inappropriate and offensive, especially given the history and racist undertones the flag carries. In a diverse city like Philadelphia, and with staff members of color working at the hotel, I think this should absolutely be reconsidered. Excellent location, great breakfast at the hotel, and very pretty lobby. The hotel is older, and the rooms, especially the bathroom, show their age. My bathtub had clearly just beed repaired with not-quite-dry-yet sealant
