My son and I had a rough go of breastfeeding in the beginning. I finally decided to get a lactation consult. Avery was super helpful and I learned more in that hour consult with her than from anyone else, including the lactation consultants at the hospital. I felt so comfortable there and my results speak for themselves! I went from supplementing with formula, to exclusively pumping to finally breastfeeding!! Mommy meets ups on Tuesdays was a great support system for me during my maternity leave. It was a good way to get out of the house and meet other moms going through the roller coaster that breastfeeding can be. Jenn and Avery were excellent with a private consult when things got tough. They were so helpful and informative. The Village has been one of the best things I ever encountered being a FTM!!
The Village has been invaluable to me in my first few years of motherhood. Jen and Avery are wonderful, supportive, and knowledgeable lactation consultants who have helped me to be successful with my nursing goals. The Fitness4U classes give me a chance to exercise and be social without needing to find a sitter for my young children.
Super knowledgeable women who started an amazing place for other women ! They have been so helpful and have lots to offer the community.
This center is doing such amazing things! They were so supportive and encouraging to me while I worked through my son's feeding aversion. It was incredibly helpful to me to be able to bring him every week and not only weigh him, but to also take his transfer weight to know exactly how much milk he was getting in a nursing session. It is so common for new moms to worry about not making enough milk, so this is such a great resource that is available to anyone who attends their (free) mommy meetup groups.
