I highly recommend the Via Center, and especially Dr Amy Xie. I was referred by a co worker, and will continue to refer people to them. Provided me with ADHD and Anxiety treatment and clarity I have sought out all my life. The office has calming ambiance, and everyone who works here is so helpful and friendly. I am extremely thankful for this practice and the care provided by my Dr.
We reached out to this clinic several times over a couple years, but never once heard back. Their website does say "if you do not hear from us in 1-2 weeks, we are regretfully unable to accept you at this time and ask that you please contact your PCP or insurance company for other referrals", but there never seems to be openings, and to receive absolutely no response at all feels very unprofessional and inconsiderate from a clinic that supposedly supports mental health and expects you to place your immense trust in them. The Via Center provides the best psychiatric care. I am a clinical psychologist and refer many patients to this practice, all of whom have had excellent experiences. The doctors collaborate with therapists and value teamwork when helping patients. They listen to their patients and provide careful medical care. Their nurse, Laura, quickly responds to questions and is helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend them highly!
Dr. Cohen was very very disrespectful cussing at a young patient causing her to cry. This place does not want what is best for children. All they care about is MAKING MONEY. And they leave children with more trauma.
My son has seen both Dr. Potash and Dr. Cohen for years, and they've been so supportive and helpful not just for him, but for our family as a whole. They are always available if a question or concern comes up, any time of day. During a potential emergency earlier this year, Dr. Cohen even reached out to me from her personal phone until things were resolved. The nurses are also quick to respond and clearly care about their patients. Highly recommend this practice for anyone dealing with mood disorders.
