The Via Center provides the best psychiatric care. I am a clinical psychologist and refer many patients to this practice, all of whom have had excellent experiences. The doctors collaborate with therapists and value teamwork when helping patients. They listen to their patients and provide careful medical care. Their nurse, Laura, quickly responds to questions and is helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend them highly!
Dr. Cohen was very very disrespectful cussing at a young patient causing her to cry. This place does not want what is best for children. All they care about is MAKING MONEY. And they leave children with more trauma.
My son has seen both Dr. Potash and Dr. Cohen for years, and they've been so supportive and helpful not just for him, but for our family as a whole. They are always available if a question or concern comes up, any time of day. During a potential emergency earlier this year, Dr. Cohen even reached out to me from her personal phone until things were resolved. The nurses are also quick to respond and clearly care about their patients. Highly recommend this practice for anyone dealing with mood disorders.
I've been a patient of Dr Kohnen's for several years and she's great. Not only do I get competent medication management she listens to how things are going and each appointment is a bit of a therapy session so my treatment is comprehensive. She gives me ways of thinking about things not just meds. I can see how telepsych might not be the best modality for those with severe problems (I've seen in other reviews patients being referred elsewhere).
