The food, service and atmosphere were good. The brunch choices were spot on and they had service to match. I was impressed with the fried green tomatoes. They were crisp rather than soggy.
Had been to the Veranda last fall for Sunday brunch and it was excellent so my husband decided to go there on our visit to Starkvillle this weekend. We had a reservation so were seated promptly. Our server Fred was very attentive and easily answered my many questions. I had the Mahi Mahi and it was cooked perfectly and delicious. My husband had the filet with tempura shrimp added and it was very good too. Will definitely be returning for either brunch or dinner.
The food was very good. I had the pork tenderloin with wild rice and asparagus. A side of fried crab cake. House salad with strawberry vinegaret dressing. Have been there many times. The dining room was a little noisy since there was so many people but we survived. Will go earlier next time to avoid such a busy time
I've been here for dinner before and it was ok, but this review is specifically for lunch. My fiance and I meet here fairly regularly for lunch. We are always seated promptly the restaurant is always clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. Prices for lunch are great. Blue plate special is what we usually get: food is great, lots of food, good price (about 10$). Great place to get lunch!
The food and the service was excellent! A fave for sure!
We enjoyed dinner NYE and my filet was amazing! I cut it with my fork it was so tender!!!!
