I went to MD Anderson for a Whipple Procedure for Pancreatic Cancer. That was 4 years ago!! My surgeon was the amazing Dr. Katz. I’m so thankful for his knowledge and expertise and the AMAZING care at MD Anderson!! I’m still only at a 9% Survivor for 5 years. #wagehope

I went to MD Anderson for a Whipple Procedure for Pancreatic Cancer. That was 4 years ago!! My surgeon was the amazing Dr. Katz. I’m so thankful for his knowledge and expertise and the AMAZING care at MD Anderson!! I’m still only at a 9% Survivor for 5 years. #wagehope

3 years ago when I walked through the doors, I was treated like royalty. Now that I’m presently in remission; I have been told that I don’t have active cancer so I’m no longer a priority. I have been humiliated and ridiculed by the doctors in Supportive Care. My rights were violated in many instances and because I refuse to dance by their music. I was given drugs that causes cancer, even after a national recall; I had to bring it to their attention and request a change. The doctors decided to use their authority and NOT assi... read more
