I have been sick for a long time now but they never give up on me and always seem to find hope when i go for appointments. i have lived longer than the average person with my diagnosis already so they must be doing something right.

After opinions at 2 other centers, I went to MD Anderson for surgery and care. I have a mixed adenocarcinoma and neuroendocrine tumor of the appendix. I feel secure in their hands.

My dads there now. He has melanoma. They loved Dr. Wong. They also met with the surgeon Dr. Cormier. They loved her too!

I can’t tell you how horribly upset I am with the Financial asst & patient advocate (names withheld at this time). I was referred to MDA by my Dr on April 11. After NUMEROUS calls, emails & faxing a ridiculous amount of information to the financial assistance Dept., continuous “stories” about what they were waiting on, today she chose to have someone else return my call only to tell me I “just don’t qualify” for anything, but as a private pay patient, I need a $30k down payment. Unbelievable!

You get the best of doctors, nurses, and they are all about comfort and care there, I have been a patient in and out since Jan 22, 2019. Highly recommend.😉
