I am so thankful for all the wonderful doctors and staff. They have taken great car of my dad for all the years he has been fighting cancer. Truly the best place ever!
The staff setup an area so we could have Thanksgiving dinner with my wife. They provided the plates, forks, spoons and napkins. My wife got to hold her first grandson. They even took pictures and joined in in the festivities. That meant the world to my wife and to us. Thank you!
MD Anderson is a special group of people that gives patient's hope. My husband, diagnosed for the third time with Cancer(parotid, kidney, and mastoid/temporal), will undergo surgery this Monday. Everyone goes out of their way to bring sunshine.
How can I possibly put into words the gratitude I have for the staff here at MD Anderson. They cared for my mother after she fell and broke her femur the day before Thanksgiving. A bone that was already under going testing for cancer. They were determined to provide as much comfort as possible until she could have surgery today, Thanksgiving Day. I wish I could remember all their names to tell them how they made a difference in our lives and how we feel blessed but I can not. So I will simply say a prayer of Thanksgiving for... read more
Always comforting to know I get accurate, and reliable testing done. I may have to drive and hour in some of the worst traffic in the country but peace of mind worth it. Thanks M.D.
This was where we were sent after I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer during my pregnancy. It's been a crazy road but I've been in remission since feb of this year and I couldn't be more thankful for Dr. Vilar and his advanced intelligence and Dr. Fournier and his amazing abilities with his surgeries he performs! I tell everyone that MDA is like a spaceship ! It's amazing. And I've only had one "negative" experience and it was by a lady st a check in desk. I feel you're at a cancer center where people are pretty misera... read more
I met the co-worker of my daugther sarah everyone was very warm and loving. I know that sarah is in good hands working at M.D Anderson. Thank you sarah for the tour.
Its the most blessed place for those who need hope. We jokingly refer to it as the Disneyland of Cancer Treatment. In our 3 years with MDA we have had very little negativity or indifference. Of course traveling the path for treatment is not always easy or quick, but our experiences with Dr. Moulder, recently Dr. Chun , and all the support staff and ancillary services, and the Mays Clinic and the hospital, were great! We are fortunate to have such a resource so close.
I know this is an amazing hospital, but the staff in the ER aren't friendly tonight! Waiting for shift change to get a room... it's been over 3 hours!
